Previously on Kumkum Bhagya:

Episode 2: Misunderstandings and Hidden Feelings
The episode opens with Sarla, heartbroken about losing the marriage hall. Pragya comforts her mother, assuring her they’ll find a way. Bulbul, Pragya’s sister, suggests they hold a small function at their home to celebrate Suresh and Pragya’s engagement.
At college, Pragya avoids Suresh, embarrassed by his sudden proposal. Suresh, misunderstanding her silence as rejection, feels dejected. Bulbul notices the awkwardness and confronts Pragya. Pragya confesses that Suresh is a good friend, but she doesn’t romantically love him.
Meanwhile, Abhi, a rockstar and owner of a music company, is introduced. He’s arrogant and self-absorbed, surrounded by a group of yes-men. He’s looking for a new lead singer for his band and rejects several auditions, finding them lackluster.
Across town, Pragya practices singing at home, unaware Abhi is a neighbor. He hears her melodious voice through the window and is instantly captivated. Intrigued, he tries to identify the source of the beautiful voice.
Back at college, Purab, Abhi’s best friend, arrives. He and Bulbul share a friendly rivalry and a hidden spark. Purab, aware of Suresh’s feelings for Pragya, advises him to be more assertive.
Later, Suresh, determined to win Pragya’s heart, presents her with a beautiful bouquet and reiterates his proposal. Pragya, touched by his gesture, finds herself unable to give him a definitive answer.
Meanwhile, Abhi finally locates the source of the voice – Pragya’s house. He sneaks closer, mesmerized as she sings a soulful melody. As the song ends, he accidentally bumps into a flower pot, creating a loud noise. Pragya, startled, rushes outside to investigate.
The episode ends with a cliffhanger. Pragya sees a shadowy figure and assumes it’s a thief. She grabs a nearby stick and confronts the figure, who turns out to be Abhi. Their eyes meet, a spark igniting in the air, as the episode fades to black.
